FOODBACK #1: KFC's Double Down Maxx

Image courtesy of KFC Brunei Facebook Fanpage

Yippee~ I finally got my hands on these babies last night. It has been out for awhile now here and I must say, it's the new version of the first Double Down. According to KFC Brunei, the Maxx consists of Hashbrown (it's potato shredded pieces which are fried to form a patty) and Chipotle Mayo (it's very spicy, I think this is the one which contributes the spiciness in the Maxx, because it is made with chipotle chili powder, hence the name) whereas the old one consisted of Chicken Strips and Jalapeno Mayo hence they weren't that spicy.

Rate:
4.5/5

Pros
- Spicier than the first one hence tastes better for a spicy-lover like me. For non-spicy eaters, you could ask them to exclude the mayo.
- Maxx can be purchased by a combo set or ala carte. I love combo though, aside from Maxx, they put cheezy wedges and a carbonated drink.
- It's bigger than the first one.
- They're available throughout the day. Unlike the first one which were only served at limited amounts. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to fix my cravings last night at the thought of that.
- Price-wise

Cons:
- I had a diarrhea this morning because of the spiciness, but can't stop myself to wish for more LOL
- Regarding the combo set, they should provide other non-carbonated drinks like iced lemon tea for  non-carbonated drinkers like me. Forget Milo lah, since it's pricey.
