December 2015 Beauty Buys

Hey, guys.. Happy Holiday once more ^^

So, I think december is the month I bought beauty products the most due to some reasons I can't named here. Most of them are new, and only one of them is a repetitive purchase, as I'm in love with it. So let's get down to business, shall we? Ouh, before I get into the real thing, I want to tell you that the picture is taken separately as I bought/got them separately, and it's like first bought, first used :P Unless stated.

Adania Charcoal Eucalyptus 2 in 1 Soap Bar

Bruneians, you may get this from @as_salwaa at BND 13 per 65gm bar

As I finished my Safi Balqis cleanser, I just knew I wanted this face soap bar so bad.. because I greatly suffered from oily skin, especially around my nose area, whiteheads, blackheads, acne (especially around my forehead and chin, still suffered from it though, I guess it's because of other factors. Yes, stress, I'm talking about you) and dull skin. Thanks to my overconfident assumption that my skin type had changed, that led me to buy Safi Balqis cleanser that is specifically NOT for oily skin type. But this soap bar is definitely for oily/acne prone skin type.

Another reason to purchase this is, it's an organic product. I've never tried one before as far as I've known, so since this product is affordable than most organic products, why not, right? I may be slow on balancing a healthy diet, but at least I have started to take the baby steps towards a healthy lifestyle :P Wish me luck.

Dirty Works Glow Girl! Buttery Salt Scrub

Bruneians may get this from Paloma at BND10.90 per 300ml tub

As my last body scrub is tooo expensive to be repurchased and not even worth the amount of its content, it took me awhile to finally settle for a body scrub of different brand. I had considered high and low from the most expensive one on the list to the cheapest one and finally I settle for something that isn't even on the list. The said brand is something I'm not familiar with. It's a UK brand, but it's surprisingly cheap here. It kinda resembles the 'Soap & Glory' brand, by referring to its retro packaging. It has a pretty strong smell which turned me off at first, but since it's cheap with its reasonable amount of content, I decided to make it an impulse buy, It is sooo amazing, sure the smell's strong, but as it glides on your skin, it becomes subtle and bearable. I'm not expecting anything from a body scrub by the way. As long as it can clean off the layers of dead skins, sweats, dirts, etc and can actually enable my skin to breathe again, that's fine with me.

LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub

I did mention in my previous post about my Tony Moly Lip Scrub that I want to try other brands' lip scrubs, and one of them is a really pricey one. Well, for UK citizens, Lush might be in the affordable range, but here, they are really pricey (I understand though, shipping fee!!), but I was lucky to stumble upon an IG, a Bruneian who offered herself as a personal shopper when she was on vacay in the UK. Bruneians, check her out at @Quirkee_Noirette. She sells other stuffs too, but watch out for her next UK vacay or other countries that she might offer to be a personal shopper at. Through her, I can get half of its price in Brunei. True to what has been claimed, it does smell amazing, really amazing, and when you put them on your lips, you can't help but lick your lips. Ooops... because of the bits of the scrubs that might have entered your mouth, you could get that sweet taste which led to your lost of self-control from licking your lips :P
