Hello, guys... and what's up?
hehe
Sorry for being MIA for quite awhile, I got caught up with work and currently, I'm on my holiday, so there's no reason to ditch a post or two again LOL I find writing therapeutic, especially doing beauty reviews. I've tried blogging about my personal life (private blog, of course, and was only read by my closest buds) but it didn't work out for me as it only made my life worst at that time, it just made me built up anger and hatred inside me, and I realized I wrote about stressful, bad-mood-moments more than about my happiness and achievements. So I deleted it and I've never been more happier. Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah.
So back on track people...
I have mentioned in previous, previous, previous post that I've been trying this cleanser slash make-up remover from Nivea, and I did say that I was going to review it after I've finished the travel size one that came with the full size. So let's get started...
What it claims to be...
Pros:
and its description at the back |
What it claims to be...
- Deeply cleansing 10 make-up residues with gentle MUD texture which does not contain skin thinning substances.
The silver-kinda-black cleanser cream is soft and I can feel a little clay-y feeling as I massage it on my skin, and it doesn't leave that tight after-wash feeling that I've experienced with some of my previous cleansers, in short, it doesn't really dry out my skin to the point it secretes more sebum, a plus point for that. And, yeap, it really cleanses my skin after I use my BB cream during the day... yayyy ^_^ How do I know that? Well, I use BB cream everyday for work or whenever I go out, and before I came across cleanser, it didn't take me long before I needed to use face mask or at least scrub to clear my pores out. There were always bumpy fine clogged pores here and there on my face.
- containing pearly white with proven whitening efficacy which is 10 times better than Vitamin C. The skin becomes more radiant, pore-refined and lessen dark spots within 7 days (if you use it with the range's serum).
Emm, I didn't buy the whole range, just this cleanser and its night cream but I can still see positive results. It doesn't 'whiten' my skin, it just brightens it, but who cares anyway, I don't intend to achieve fairer look with this Nivea range. As I said in my previous post, I only look for a make-up remover plus a cleanser :P It also helps to reduce the clogged pores, but not entirely pore-refining and it lessens my dark spots, but not within 7 days, of course.
Rate: 4/5 |
Pros:
- Cleanses deeply without skin tightening.
- Brightens up my skin when used with its night cream.
- Not entirely pore-refining, but good enough.
- Lessens my dark spots.
- Cheap and easily available.
Cons:
None as I only aim for make-up removing properties which it does good at it.
Will I repurchase?
Maybe yes, Maybe no. I've looked into new cleansers to try which means, it doesn't leave me head over heels for it :P. Ok, what's next? Biore? Bio-Essence? Hada Labo? We'll see :P
Ok, guys.. that's all, see you in my next post yeah ^^
