Sorry I've been neglecting my role as a newbie beauty blogger because I am either too lazy, too intimidated or too busy, with the first being the more reasonable explanation :P
So, this post is regarding my January's New Stuffs. I would say 'haul' if I don't know that 'haul' means a whole bundle of stuffs, big amount to be exact and now that I know, I will either gonna call it purchases or 'Just Used', because I sometimes have new stuffs that I bought a long time ago, but never get the chance to actually use it or only have only used it once or twice.
Okay, let's get started.
NEW STUFF
1) Body Fantasy Signature Fragrance Body Spray - Cotton Candy
I bought it from Paloma in The Mall Gadong for BND15+, they also have the travel friendly one for BND9+. I was ethusiastic about it as it has the sweet Cotton Candy scent. I love the sweet cotton candy smell (who doesn't) as I'm into chocolate and sweety scents recently. Turns out this scent is one of best-selling Body Fantasy range (body spray, lotions and hand sanitizers) and the Body Fantasy's body sprays are No 1 in America and Japan. For me, this is a nice dupe for Victoria's Secret's and BBW's body sprays. Not that I'm gonna ditch them, I'm still gonna reconsider them in the body spray list whenever I feel my budget is allowing it hehe. This spray for me is long-lasting depending on my body temperature or the environment I'm exposed to, but does not have as empowering as VS or BBW. I kinda wish that Paloma could bring in the hand sanitizers especially in Cotton Candy scent, but so far the hand sanitizers which have newly intoduced last year in Japan, are only available in the said country and I couldn't even ask a personal shopper to buy one for me because according to them, the HS contains ingredients which are prohibited to be shipped internationally. Please please please Paloma and Body Fantasy manufacturer, please allow it to be in Brunei ^_^ In the mean time, I want to go for BBW hand sanitizer. I hope Shop@Sarah got the cotton candy one instock.

2) Nivea Extra White Pore Minimiser Mud Foam
Initially, I'm into the Garnier products, and I'm thankful for them, as they effectively scared off most of the acne, but they're a bit drying amd tightening afterwash. Then I used the Neutrogena one, but then, it isn't available here, and it didn't do most of the expected outcomes, so yeah... crossed it out. I chose this cleanser, because I need to change my cleanser and I need a make-up remover :P 2 in 1 wawawa I got it from buy 1 get 1 travel sized free and bought by my big brother who went to Limbang last year. At that time, it wasn't available here in Brunei. So thanks big bro for the favor. Gonna review it when I have finished the travel sized one that I currently use.
3) Tabloq
My grandma has this traditional trick to get acne-free and fairer skin. Just use wheat flour, lime juice from the fruit (just squeeze them like u squeeze lemon for lemonade), and a little bit of water to produce a mask pack (make a paste). She said, she and my mom used to put it on as sleeping mask when they were in the maiden era :P Thus they had (and still have) that acne free (for my grandma) and fairer (in my mom's case) skin. I was pretty much bought by my grandma's testimonial than my mom's because I think Mom used other skincare products too when she's still a teenage girl or a young adult (by considering the years she was in, I'm not sure during my grandma's younger days, she had accessed to the western skincare products, but I'm sure my mom did have accessed) and besides we have Chinese blood (from my grandad's side), which pretty much explains where my mom gets her fair complexion from (and decide to not hand down some of the gene TO ME :P). I used apply the wheat flour mask too when I was in Secondary years, but not anymore because I couldn't see any significant results on me.
Tabloq plays almost the same role as the trick my grandma used. It's also traditional and made of 100% natural ingredients (natural clay) as they claimed. It is a Malaysian product and I got it for BND5 at one of the shops on the building just across the BIBD in Kiulap area. Result? wait till I review it, yeah? which I'm not pretty sure when :P
